While at high school it was her ambition to be a jazz pianist. After graduating, she studied jazz piano under Takehiro Honda and Toshiyuki Daitoku and Fumio Itabashi, and rhythm under Yuji Imamura.
After that she played at various live venues around the Tokyo area including Shinjuku Pitinn, Airegin, and formed her own trio and group.
She developed a performance style based around both standard and original pieces. She released an album ‘Junior Line’ in 2000 and another, ‘Terminal’ in 2010.Besides performing, she also writes a lot of published music related textbooks.
高校在学中にジャズ・ピアニストを志し、卒業後、本田竹広氏、大徳俊幸氏、板橋文夫氏にジャズピアノを師事。今村祐司氏にリズムを師事。
その後、新宿ピットイン、関内エアジンほか、都内近郊のライブハウス等に出演し、自己のトリオやコンボを結成。オリジナルやスタンダードを中心に演奏活動を展開する。2000年にアルバム「ジュニアライン」2010年に「ターミナル」をリリース。また、演奏のかたわら、ジャズ教本なども多数執筆。
